before Tox

schedule your Tox treatment at least 2 weeks before an event

to limit bruising, avoid smoking for 1 week prior and avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to filler.

avoid blood thinning medications for 2 weeks prior to treatment. this must be ok with your medication prescriber.

avoid multivitamins and herbal medication at least 2 weeks before treatment to minimize bruising (e.g. ginko biloba, ginseng, fish oil, multivitamins, etc)

avoid any other facial cosmetic treatments for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure

postpone treatment if you have any active rash or skin condition at the treatment area.

you can experience some redness, swelling, bruising or itching around the injection sites.

you can use Tylenol for some mild pain if necessary.

do not touch, rub or massage the area.

the results that start within the first 5 days will continue to appear and improve for 2 weeks

you will have a follow up at 2 weeks for assessment and additional refinement if needed.

avoid laying down for 4 hours after treatment

for at least the first 24-48 hours do not drink, do excessive exercise or get additional facial treatments after neurotoxin.

protect your skin with sunscreen.
