before fillers

to limit bruising, avoid smoking for 1 week prior to filler and avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to filler.

avoid blood thinning medications for 2 weeks prior to treatment. this must be ok with your medication prescriber.

avoid multivitamins and herbal medication at least 2 weeks before treatment to minimize bruising (e.g. ginko biloba, ginseng, fish oil, multivitamins, etc).

expect some redness, swelling, and discomfort for a few hours after the procedure.

avoid strenuous workouts for 48 hours after.

there is very little recovery time after fillers. you will be given instructions with recommendations of what to do and not do after treatment but we do not want you to stop living your life!
